Damage scaling
The following modifiers will directly affect the damage over time;[3][4] note that some of these modifiers apply only to the DoTs whereas some may also apply to the skill that triggered it:
Damage over Time

Natively modifiers to attack damage (i.e. weapon damage, melee damage, etc.) and spell damage do not apply to damage over time effects unless specifically stated so, as observed on skills like Contagion, Essence Drain or Vortex.
Attack和Spell伤害只影响Hit伤害,不影响DoT,DoT吃“全局增伤”“持续伤害增伤”“类型(混沌、冰冻、火焰)伤害增伤”“状态持续伤害增伤(点燃、毒、流血)”
Damage conversion does not apply to damage over time.[5] Flat damage from things like Added Chaos Damage Support
does not apply to damage over time.
There are modifiers that can apply their effects only when a certain condition is met. Modifiers that are conditional on properties of the target do not affect damage over time because only hits are able to check someone else properties.[6][7]

The explosion of the Spore Pods counts as a hit, which allows for rapid application of "on hit" effects such as poison, or life and mana gain on hit.
Increasing the number of projectiles appears to drop spores over a larger total area. Since the spore-to-spore distance seems to be the same,[1][2][3] the overlap (and therefore single-target damage) does not increase with greater number of projectiles.
Sources of increased area of effect allow the damage over time from each spore to overlap.[4] User testing indicates that increased area does not appear to increase the spore-to-spore distance,[5][2] therefore this should improve single-target damage.
Spore explosions and arrows count as "kill with this weapon" but damage over time component does not.
毒雨分为孢子爆裂的Hit和污染区域的DoT,多个重叠范围的DoT可叠加,只有弓箭孢子爆炸击杀算“由武器击杀”,DoT不算
毒雨的持续伤害不是中毒效果,所以不吃中毒伤害增加
