[*]Challenge leagues are a great opportunity for a fresh start in a new economy. All of your old characters and items are still present in the Standard and Hardcore leagues, but you're encouraged to join the new leagues, complete challenges and demonstrate your mastery of Path of Exile!

Most but not all sources of increased damage (such as specific monster or map mods) have had their values adjusted to compensate. Be careful when fighting unique monsters, especially in mod-heavy maps.

the elder encounter balance
长老改动这里说明一下,和长老的战斗分为四个阶段。第一阶段:常规阶段,正常与长老作战,他的所有技能都会照常释放,把他打空血之后进入第二阶段。第二阶段:小怪阶段,塑界者出现并开始封印长老,这时候场上会刷出传送门,里面出许多小怪,并试图击败塑界者,你需要保护塑界者直到他完成封印,完成四个封印后进入第三阶段。第三阶段:不稳定阶段,长老将被固定,在短暂时间内尽可能对他造成伤害,他只会施放部分技能,把他打空或者时间到之后进入第四阶段。第四阶段:自爆阶段,长老会在短暂蓄力后自爆,全图秒杀,进入zana的罩子可以帮你避免这个伤害。
[*]Zana now appears to provide protection much closer to The Elder upon defeating it. It should be much harder to miss her now. Her dialogue is now shown in the chat window.

Existing Atlases will keep their Sextants, though applying new Sextants will still remove the oldest one. You can see which Map has the oldest Sextant by hovering over the new Sextant display on your Atlas.
